I am asking for my friend, who works for another company. She is a Sales Manager and was promoted to this position three months ago. Before that she was a Sales Agent not in the office out in the field and her pay was commission only. In her new position, she is in the office over forty hours a week and have agents working under her. She would like to know, isn't her employer suppose to pay her as a salaried employee?
