First I want to pay tribute to Sally Helgesen who was one of the earliest advocates who told us the way women lead is "The Female Advantage." Increasinlgy we have research from prestigious souces (MIT, Harvard Business School, Pepperdine University) to support that women in leadership result in higher profitability and more effective problem solving, and that employees respect their women leaders and like working for them. When we did the research for our book, How Women Lead: The 8 Essential Strategies Women Know, we consistently heard from the most successful women leaders that the path to success is to "lead like a woman." In summary -- lead boldly; lead like a woman!
