Peggy O'Brien is Vice President of the Learning and Performance Center at Covance, a worldwide leader in providing development services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and nutritional supplement companies.
Ms. O'Brien began her career with Covance over thirty years ago and has held positions of increasing responsibility in Operations and Human Resources. She has been instrumental in building the Learning and Performance Center at Covance. Among her accomplishments are: centralization of on-the-job training to drive time to productivity, implementation of Covance Leadership Development program, implementation and skill building around hiring talent, enhancing succession planning and executive development processes and introducing new career development systeMs.. Ms. O'Brien has been the recipient of two prestigious internal honors: the Covance Way Award and Covance People Leadership Award.
Ms. O'Brien received her Master's Degree in Continuing and Vocational Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison while working at Covance.
