Cassandra Phillips is a well-educated, emerging human resources professional. After graduating from high school, she attended Saddleback College and received an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration. She continued to study business once transferring to California State University, Fullerton. Throughout her college career she held part and full time jobs in customer service industries, where her passion for helping people grew. This passion led her educational focus towards human resources, thus receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources Management from CSUF a few years later. Now, she is on track to receive her Masters in Business Administration from Concordia University at the end of 2011.
During her college career she gained ten plus years of experience in the customer service industry. Here she developed strong organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills. These skills enabled her to support the President, Human Resources Department and Credit Department at South County Bank for the past four years. This past month she was able to transition careers and is now the Human Resources Assistant at AcuFocus, Inc. The future looks bright for Cassandra in this position as she is excited to grow as a HR professional.
When Cassandra is not working or studying, she enjoys being outdoors. During the winter months she can be found on the slopes in Mammoth or Lake Tahoe snowboarding. When the weather heats up she heads out to the Colorado River, where she enjoys to jet ski. Cassandra recently picked up the hobby of running. This past October she completed her first half-marathon in San Francisco at the Nike Women’s Marathon, a race to benefit the leukemia and lymphoma society.
